After being disappointed by the poor performance and quality of most intercooler kits available for the 4WD market, we have decided to design & build our own to suit most 4wd vehicles.
The first to get our attention was the popular Nissan Patrol GU 4.2L Turbo Diesel.

Cross Country Ultimate Top Mount Intercooler Kit

After countless hours of R&D, dyno testing and lots of kilometres, we are proud to announce the release of our much-anticipated Ultimate Top Mount Intercooler Kit for the GU Patrol. Here at Cross Country we are dedicated to designing and developing top class market leading products that out perform the rest of the competition while bringing you exceptional value.

The new Ultimate Top Mount Intercooler Kit is the ideal setup for any GU patrol with forced induction full stop! Seeing the need for a high flow cooler system with exceptional heat exchanging properties without sacrificing radiatior cooling or ground clearance issues (as with many front mounts) has led us to develop the Ultimate Top Mount Intercooler Kit. Using a bonnet scoop/s (different combinations depending on the customer) to optimise airflow while the vehicle is moving and a thermo fan to pull the cold air into your cooler at low speeds. Dyno testing has revealed a significant increase in power and torque and a decrease in intake temperature. With the bonnet open only relying on the fan! (75 degrees across the cooler). The Cross Country Top Mount Intercooler Kit uses a 600x300x75mm tube & fin adrad core and has everything you need to fit your kit in 2 – 4hrs. We supply the cooler, frame,mounting brackets, wiring relay, clamps, silicon hoses, nuts & bolts and full instructions.

This kit is extremely simple to fit and does not have half the amount of throttle lagging pipework as other systems on the market.
