The need for a holiday and to get away from the cold weather saw us planning a trip, and the only place to head was north. Instead of taking the normal routes, we decided to head up the dog fence between SA and NSW. Our only aim for this trip was to see as much as possible in two weeks. Not much planning went into the trip, which saw us carrying much more equipment than required. Leaving Adelaide late on Sunday night saw us camping just before the NSW border on the Barrier Highway. Prior to the trip, purchased a GPS, laptop and mapping program. Once we turned off the highway, it was up to the laptop and GPS as to which way we travelled, but north was our main aim.
